RENE LALIQUE RING
(1860-1945)       (un-marked)

EXQUISITE RENÉ LALIQUE CAMEO GLASS RING

This intriguing ring stands out as a unique piece, diverging from the typical Lalique glass rings that many are familiar with. Featuring a finely crafted cameo face encased in gold, it exudes a sense of exclusivity and artistry. The glass color, described as "pearly opalescent," showcases René Lalique's signature formula, a favorite in his repertoire for over a century. Lalique, originally a jeweler before venturing into glassmaking, demonstrates his mastery with the intricately designed 3-dimensional cameo set in gold, accented by two delicate sapphires, culminating in a stunning example of Art Deco aesthetics.

Despite a crack in the band, this ring bears witness to approximately a century of history, originating from the workshop of one of the era's great artists. Its age, craftsmanship, and association with René Lalique elevate its status as a collector's piece, embodying the artistic innovation and elegance synonymous with the Art Deco movement.
